When you visit
Netlify may receive your IP address, request time, page address, referrer, browser information, and response result to deliver and protect the site.
I rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR to deliver and protect this site. The full provider log-retention schedule is not confirmed.
Form detection is disabled. No ad pixels, heatmaps, session replay, or social-media players have been added.
Website analytics
Netlify Web Analytics is enabled for the published site. Real User Monitoring is off.
Web Analytics uses server logs to report visits, pages, locations, and missing resources. Visitor counts use IP addresses. It adds no browser code or cookies.
I use these reports to understand which pages visitors use and to find broken links. I rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for this limited, server-side measurement.
Analytics charts can show up to 30 days of activity; this is not proof that underlying logs are deleted after 30 days. Their full retention schedule remains unconfirmed.
When you email
I use your address, messages, metadata, and attachments for recruitment, questions, corrections, and rights requests.
Proposed basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for correspondence, or Article 6(1)(c) for legal duties. There are no automated hiring decisions or marketing lists.

Email provider and AI
Email is hosted by Namecheap Private Email. I have disabled the optional AI assistant and its data-sharing setting.
Namecheap’s published terms allow AI-assisted security checks, including processing by external AI providers. I have not confirmed whether those checks apply to this mailbox. Further information is available in Namecheap’s email terms.
That route's abuse-monitoring logs may last up to 30 days. This does not establish all email-log retention.
Recruitment messages and routine documents are welcome. Contact me first to arrange secure delivery of particularly sensitive material, including ID scans or medical records. Never email passwords.
Correspondence retention
Every three months, I review completed recruitment conversations and delete messages and attachments after 12 months without meaningful contact. Ongoing conversations remain until complete.
Records needed for legal duties or claims remain longer, with review and deletion when that need ends. Corrections and rights requests are reviewed according to purpose.
Review is manual, including Sent, archives, mail-app copies, and saved attachments. Deletion does not immediately remove provider backups or logs.
AgeHandoff demo
The demo uses fictional personas and dates. Do not enter real information. It sends no verification requests, connects to no identity provider, and saves no inputs.
Demo selections stay in your browser. Published page visits are included in hosting logs and Web Analytics.
The form and admin area are removed. Old inquiry routes reject submissions without reading their contents. Historical records and hosting logs are not deleted by these changes.
Hosting and email providers
Netlify, Inc. hosts this site on its Free plan. Namecheap, Inc. provides the Private Email Launch mailbox.
24-hour diagnostic history is not a universal deletion deadline.
Daily restoration backups may last four weeks, separately from messages and mail logs.
Both providers act as processors for customer data handled on the customer's behalf.
Provider documents allow processing outside the EEA, including the United States.
Recipients and safeguards
Netlify's subprocessor register includes AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Deno. Not every listed supplier necessarily receives this site's visitor data.
Its processing agreement forms part of standard self-serve terms. It provides for EU-US Data Privacy Framework transfers, with standard contractual clauses as a fallback.
Namecheap's processing addendum covers hosted services and includes standard contractual clauses for applicable transfers. Its email terms name OpenAI for possible security processing; see When you email.
What remains unconfirmed
Underlying hosting, analytics and mail-log retention, provider-copy deletion, and service-specific recipients and locations remain partly unconfirmed.

Research samples
Samples assess public claims with attribution and original diagrams, without source-video imagery or personal reputation ratings.
Public availability does not remove privacy obligations. If a research sample identifies someone, contact me with the page and statement so I can review it.
Email corrections or privacy concerns with the affected page and statement. Updates cannot recall every copy of public downloads.
The optional background
After you select Play background, a temporary tab identifier and timestamp coordinate animation across open tabs.
The portfolio's own code does not use cookies, local storage, or session storage. Nothing from the background feature is saved or sent to me. Netlify Web Analytics is described above.
Downloads and external links
Downloads can appear in the same host logs as other requests. External services receive nothing from a plain link until you choose to open it.
Your choices and rights
You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing. You may also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
